Mi nombre es Fernando Cabaleiro, y soy miembro de la Organizacion no gubernamental Naturaleza de Derechos de La Argentina. Estamos aqui en La Hay participando en La Asamblea de los Pueblos consideramos que es muy importante esta reunion entre las distintas asambleas del mundo para denunciar este ecocidio que esta generando el agronegocio , consideramos que es muy importante para intercambiar experiencias, estrategias hacia delante, aunar criterios y obviamente que eso es muy importante para nosotros tambien llevarlo a la Argentina donde estamos en una coyuntura donde las empresas pretenden patentar las semillas y nosotros estamos ofreciendo la resistencia por eso la Asamblea es oportuna y estamos muy contentos de estar aqui.

My name is Fernando Cabaleiro, and I am a member of the NGO Naturaleza de Derechos in Argentina. We are here in The Hague to participate in the People’s Assembly; I believe this meeting between the various assemblies in the world is very important to denounce the ecocide generated by agribusinesses. We consider it to be very important to share experiences, future strategies, and bringing together different criteria. What is also of great importance to us is to bring all of this to Argentina, where we are witnessing a situation in which companies seek to patent seeds: we are offering alternatives to resist this issue. It is for these reasons that the Assembly is extremely relevant and timely, and we are very happy to be here.
