As part of the People’s Assemblies worldwide for the Monsanto Tribunal, the 8th Conference on The Economics of Happiness took place at the Teatro Verdi in Florence (IT) on October 2nd, 2016. It entailed a series of lectures on local food provision and happy de-growth, conducted by some of the most prominent environmental activists and figures of our times, such as Vandana Shiva, Serge Latouche, Helena Norberg-Hodge, Rob Hopkins, Maurizio Pallante and many others.
