The local Peliti group in Peratia, (Western Greece) took part in the international mobilization regarding Seed & Food Freedom, with an event in the seaside square of Lefkada (on Sunday 9th October, 11am – 2pm). This event was comprised of various parallel activities, such as a children’s craft workshop with seeds, a gardening workshop, short film screenings, free distribution of traditional seeds, and a shared meal. Whoever wished to could bring home made food to share. Sharing our food has been an opportunity to talk around the table about seed freedom and food sovereignty with regard to the upcoming symbolic Monsanto Tribunal at The Hague.
